That allows you to see their old site. This looks so ancient!
@TrevinPro @TypicalThieves Do you have a archive of your old blog posts on .gq?
Most likely somewhere.
What the hell did the originals page even look like back then
that is back in the days when they used to just make forum posts about issues
This is apparently how .gq looked when it first started?
Minus the CSS issues. Archiveorg doesnt do css well a lot
“Posted by Administrator” that feels man
Geez..
NO YEAH they also made blogposts for every new video. It was so crud. 84 Expander v2 brought a videoplayer and comments and eventually a like button instead of just being a link. I think that was when they swapped to Wordpress?
How many versions of 84 expander exist?
First one was just links to YouTube and Spotify on that old one with the white background
Second one had multiple versions. A bunch of different things on their Wordpress site. Podcast listening was a dedicated page and you had to click originals then podcast. They changed it to be a shortlink in the originals button i think
Third one is what it is right now?
i have their old listen page still bookmarked lol.
https://team84official.com/podcast/watermelon-podcast/listen but it just redirects me to 84expander.com
If you want to see it
LOL yeah they didn’t have a listen button for DSFIP on that version and it pissed the living SHIT out of me
It is all “originals”.
Wordpress was a pain to work with and caused problems especially with updates, 84Expander is self hosted so we made it from actual scratch and allowed us to put all of our content in one place with many new features. The old originals were locked as a page, now allowing us to do much of anything.
As for more individual breakdowns the 84Expander has a changelog of most created / changed features and some fixes.
A lot of the meme “wordpress”, like for example our current lofi stream on the expander was because it would randomly break everything from videos to pages. Sometime straight up bricking the site until everything was changed. (Don’t mention daylight savings.)
the new 84 expander is WAY better then the last.
