Coming out as trans

Im planning on coming out as transgender to my parents does anyone have any advice?

I dont want to be disowned but i dont like hiding. I am seeimg more hate online bashing lgbtq.

Companies are no longer showing support during pride month. You people (team 84 official) didnt even :frowning: (plz do it next year. Month long logo or something)

Would it be worth coming out? I hate myself for not being able to he myself. Thanksgiving made it worse.

I do not have any real advice, but I hope for the best from whichever path you choose. The reason we didn’t have anything even a logo change this year was for that month everything was haywire, and a lot of internal changes were happening. We show support where we can for instance on X (formally twitter, the still toxic land), we do have several posts like this. Hopefully as we grow we can do more to show our care for our community regardless of thier gender. :hampter:

We will try doing something next year hopefully, no promises.

We support you and its hard saying without knowig your backstory. Even if we did its hard knowing how someone’s going to react. If your still living with them vs not also is a hugr factor. Stuff like that <3

I think being trans is awesome but are you male to female or female to male :rat:

I don’t know what the people in your life are fully like so I won’t make any assumptions, but I agree that being openly trans should be a proud thing and not something to be shunned away. Whether it’s female to male, or vice versa, it sucks that people don’t accept that kind of thing. People’s happiness should be first and foremost always, and I genuinely wish you the best of luck with anything and everything.

:transgender_flag: thank you all ill tell them and get them out my life if they dont want me
