Steve was just a bit of a goober. He did evil things, was a good test dummy. But, then, a smarty mcsmartpants decided to try a leaked password from a external website that was being used on Steve’s account. Steve, who had access to post videos and stuff.. did some nasty things by posting posts. However, Steve’s account was not a administrator, so, no user data was stolen as all the account had was posting permissions. Our team of highly skilled idiots responded by locking down the channel and working to secure Steve’s account.
Now, that Steve’s accounts password has been changed. We’re sorry. (pulls out a ukulele). We’re going to muder the intern who let this happen
TLDR: Steve was added as a test account, there was an old leaked password from a external website (not ours), Steve was taken over and was temporarily able to alter things in the channel
I thought this breacher was interesting. He did a stream using a stream key and was chill. We even decided to make that throw away account in the end.
Then we found something truly disturbing.
We enjoy good fun, we don’t enjoy being impersonated, and we REALLY don’t like racial slurs being posted in comments and actual zoophilia podcasts.
I am more disappointed than anything. I am just disappointed in this small man. I was happy to see them being genuinely cool about all of it until they just became another boring sap who took advantage of a situation for lame reasons.
