Stream feedback

I have been going through the vods on youtube and i have a lot of feedback:

  1. i like the music changes in the intro compared to the baytoven aaaa aaaa music you often use (example 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlcxNwakVXM, example 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FO77fD1aYUo)

  2. normally there is two “hosts” but imo when you have more its more interesting to watch (example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-F9H_quZDrc, example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uesVYqVAdJs). Idk why it was stopped and you moved to only two hosts can we have the people for older streams back. In the two newest you did I you had them back don’t make them leave

  3. One of your “hosts” did some racist stuff on the team fortress 2 stream but it was not addressed but he was fine in the one after that i like him but this is FUCKING NOT COOL and NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED! I dont want to see him gone but that is FUCKING BULLSHIT

  4. you have inconsistent stream lengths. ones that go for long time are more intersting

  5. When your stream is showing the starting soon screen for a long time before the start you used to say it was delayed (example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QN1C_6OCqQ). Whyd you stop

  6. it sounds like Team 84 Official was started by teens because the voices throughout the streams SOOOOOOOO changed

I’m not an official member of Team 84 at the moment, but I’ve been given the green light to answer at least a few of your questions/comments.

  1. The owners are aware of this and are noting it. Thank you for the music feedback. Personally I do like the Chillhop music more because it provides variety to our stream openings, we/they could do that more often.
  2. The original reason why the whole “3 Owners” thing was discontinued was because owners were almost always either leaving or unable to fulfill obligations (myself included). Whether me or any of the older members return regularly is entirely up to them.
  3. Team 84 and myself do acknowledge the racial things that were said during the Team Fortress 2 stream on February 8th of 2024, and those reasons are why said stream was taken down shortly after it concluded. The matter was discussed afterwards among myself and the content team. Xavier64 himself (under his own accord) will leave a reply to this feedback and we can progress from there if need be.
  4. We’ve noted that longer streams are more interesting, thank you once again, as always, for the feedback. Monitoring stream lengths and/or making them around the same length each time is actually much more difficult than it seems.
  5. Honestly, most if not all of us forgot that we even did the “Stream Delayed” sliding message, lol.
  6. Yes, this is true, lol. Typical Thieves, Skyrim Gamer and I all founded Team 84 back in 2020 when we all were in high school. Typical Thieves “technically” had a 3 in his name, Skyrim Gamer’s old YouTube name was SuperHero56, and obviously mine is KirbyFighter25. 56 + 25 + 3 equals 84, and that is where the name originated.

idk what the fuck happened that i missed but thanks for the transparency

xavier 64 said some racist stuff and he is no longer listed on the https://team84official.com/bios/ page? racism is not allowed here isnt it @TypicalThieves @TrevinPro

i like the new music

i dont believe any of them would say anything racist would they? I normally watch the uploaded versions I can’t find the stream but I don’t want to believe that

Attn Community:

We are effectively immediately terminating Xavier 64 from Team 84 Official, which would remove his position of Stream Team. This decision does not come lightly from any of us either on a personal or corporate level. We do not enjoy having to do this, however in light of recent events this has to be done for now. Xavier 64’s recent actions on the latest stream, among other times can not be ignored. This is due to a lot of recurring issues within content creation that keep recurring, such as being unprepared for streams, and many internal issues, and most recently using racial and homophobic terms towards people personally in our and his community which do not align with our corporate values. We are sorry for what happened. We’ll continue promoting a healthy and inclusive community. Till next time!

Too whom it may concern, I would like to apologize for the words that I said. I have a specific sense of humor, and I sometimes forget that. I will in the future remember to keep my tongue in check. Realizing that not everybody is perfect in the world including myself, I have to remember I can’t just openly say something that makes a direct impact on other people, especially in a professional setting.

why would you think that was ok in the first place?!

“I have a specific sense of humor” is that just being racist?

All this says to me is, “You don’t get my sense of humor” and “saying that word is a joke.” How pathetic are you? As a Black American who is often discriminated against with that word, having someone like you use it as a joke is not just insensitive—it’s hurtful and unacceptable. It’s not about your sense of humor, it’s about respect and awareness of the impact your words can have. Do better

So your saying you’re only going to stop saying it in a “professional setting” meaning you will say it again. you need to grow the fuck up and get out of the past. its no longer 2000s cod lobbies.

What the hell did @Xavier say that everyone is pissed about @Tank

A few things I would like to address really quick:

Number one: We at Team 84 do NOT support activity of any kind like this or anything similar. We cannot and do not try to control anyone else’s actions and we ourselves made an official statement right after the fact about Xavier 64’s firing. Our lack of reply was specifically to avoid the issue catching fire.

Number two: Team 84 did ask him if he wished to write an official apology, yes, but we were NOT the ones who wrote it. It was his own willing choice to apologize to everyone.

Number three: There were multiple reasons for the official firing from the team beyond just these comments, repeated doxxing being one of them.

Number four: no matter what was done or said, none of us here support harassment or name-calling of any kind. Yes, everyone is upset at what happened, and feeling emotions is always allowed, however reacting in a calm and respectful manner is also needed. We left this thread open because we are fine with people discussing it. We were not and are not actively trying to push it under the rug or ignore it. We do not control what he says or does, and what is said on his personal channel is his own choice. Anyone is free to reach out for details, but please do not harass any current or former team members.

wow this is emailing me a lot. Tbh i dont want to see him gone said theyr “terminating xavier 64” which i dont like i liked him in the podcasts and streams. i just want to see change look at logan paul

Team84 did not “let” Xavier say those things. we said he would release an apology; we didn’t make it, and it was his choice to send it as was. Xavier has not disappeared just been removed from Team84. We do not have control over Xavier’s channel and were not the ones to tell him to remove his comments.

We did not even go mute and silent as we had addressed it in a podcast and iirc the following stream, granted minorly. He owns his twitter account as well, I do not get the point made there. Xavier has tried to improve but do to reoccurring issues he was removed.

Team84 is a group of people, Xavier may return eventually but not until he improves first. We can’t expect him to change in a single day, so we terminated him to prevent furthering issues until things get better.

So you might bring him back if he shows improvement?

Yes, but please understand things like this take time, we are only removing him from Team84, he still has his own channel he can use for now which we have no control over either way. Termination is painful but required for the foreseeable future to handle the consequences of the continues errors he has made.

We would love a future where we don’t need to rely on making a ton of chances and risks to keep someone as part of the content.

how does he prove himself if he’s terminated
